Acts as a carrier for plaster where no key or backing is present Can be used over chases/columns to prevent cracking Can be moulded into curves/domes Can easily be cut to size using tin-snips or aviation cutters Fixing Type: Galvanised Clout Nails/Staples/Screws and Washers A 5-6mm gap must be provided between the lath and substrate Overlap sheets 50mm along short edge, and 25mm along long edge Fixings to perimeter at 150mm intervals, central fixings at max 350mm in a staggered formation Sheets should be staggered in a stretcher (brick bond) arrangement If overlaps are unsupported, they must be wire-tied at 150mm centres
Used to reinforce and protect plaster over chases and dissimilar backgrounds No joints, interweaving or welds to fail under stress Can easily be cut to size using tin-snips or aviation cutters Fix in a staggered pattern across chases, with fixings at 300mm centres Space off the substrate by 5-6mm to allow the plaster to envelop the strands When using over dissimilar materials, isolate plaster from background using building paper Do not use over movement joints"
Single piece, non welded construction Non coaxial fixing holes 600g/m2 galvanized coating Manufactured 10mm less to allow for notching/joist regularisation Fixing Type: Built in to masonry - No mechanical fixings required to wall. 3.75x30 square twisted nails to connect joist. Back of hanger must be tight against wall. Joists are to be cut square with a gap not exceeding 6mm from the rear of the hanger. A minimum 675mm of set masonry must be in place over support flange before loads are applied. Joist to be nailled through side gusset using 3.75x30mm square twisted nails. The underside of joists should be notched to provide a level surface for plasterboarding. Declared Loadbearing Capacity : 7.5kN SWL (SLS)
A versatile perforated plate used for connecting or repairing timber. All holes are pressed countersunk to aid location of the nail and to give a flush finish. Manufactured from galvanised steel to give a high level of corrosion resistance.
