This Stanley Line Level 042287 is used for setting out levels over large areas where precision is of secondary importance e.g., ideal for landscape gardening.
It has a lightweight metal body for long life and includes hooks for using on string.

The Stanley Moulded Body Surform® Block Plane for use on all types of wood, aluminium, copper, plastics and laminates. The blade is reversible for bull nose work, and it has a lightweight plastic moulded body with a thumb screw for quick release. Fitted with a 140mm (5.1/2in) fine cut blade. The blade can be changed without the use of additional tools.

This 60 1/2 Block Plane features a low angle cutter seat at 13.5° and is fully adjustable for depth-of-cut, cutter alignment and size of mouth. The body is made from a fine grey iron.
Particularly effective on end grain and plastic laminates.
Supplied with a pouch for convenient storage.
