THE FOXALL BATHROOM

The Foxall bathroom story began with a visit to our showroom at the end of March. With a simple sketch, a few measurements and photographs of the existing room, our customer had one clear wish: to replace the bath with a modern shower.

The original bathroom featured peach-toned tiles, a decorative border and a traditional pedestal basin, with the bath occupying much of the available space. This was an opportunity to rethink the layout and create a room better suited to everyday life.

Kay explored the customer’s needs and budget, presenting different options alongside an itemised costing. The 3D designs helped bring those ideas into focus, showing how the proposed bathroom would look from several angles before installation began.

The finished room brings together soft grey tones, crisp white fittings and polished chrome details. A curved glass shower enclosure replaces the bath, while a white vanity unit adds useful storage beneath the basin. Verona wall tiles and coordinating LVT flooring give the room a consistent finish, complemented by mirrored storage and a tall white towel radiator. Products sourced from Lakes Showering Spaces, Mira and PJH Bathrooms to Love complete the scheme.

Following a site survey and checks of the plumbing, electrics and access, installation was scheduled from 22 June to 3 July. Led by bathroom fitter and principal plumber Mark Shea, the team completed the work within that agreed timescale.

Care for the customer’s home was part of the job from the outset. Protective coverings were laid in the necessary areas, waste was contained and regularly removed, and deliveries kept the installation supplied with materials. In their letter, the customer praised the contractors’ courtesy and the care they took throughout the project.

Mark was supported by James on plumbing, Dean and Harry on electrics, Dean on plastering, and Ian and John on tiling, alongside the PC Building Supplies delivery team. The customer also recognised their hard work during exceptionally hot weather, highlighting Mark’s professionalism and eye for detail.

For our customer, the result was “the bathroom of my dreams”. What began as a wish to replace a bath became a complete transformation: a modern shower room, thoughtfully planned and carefully fitted, ready to be enjoyed for years to come.
